Plans...

I should know this by now....when one works in a hospital, particularly in a surgical speciality, don't make plans for anything, ever. Only had a few clinic patients to see, no surgical cases scheduled, great, I'll be home by noon, crawl into bed, nurse my cold with a four to five hour nap and have a lovely evening with my boyfriend. Well, i spent my afternoon in the OR with 2 added cases, then in the clinic with an added total primary joint work-up and then had to write up a few admission notes on the new patients. Got home at 5, no nap, did shower and now I'm headed to dinner. oh well!
