It could be worse..

Like I said yesterday, there are people far worse off than I am. But at this point, I'm having a hard time focusing on that.

My mechanic just called. My car is totaled. The cost of repairs will exceed the value of the car. Insurance company says it is covered so that will help, but I'm basically sort of in a shocked haze right now. He's going to make a list of the costs and labor to review with the insurance company.

I'm not feeling so good.
